Bristol, your climate needs you.

On Saturday 24th October Bristol is doing it's bit to get the momentum moving faster on climate change issues.

The Climate Countdown event at the Millennium Square includes bands, stalls, games, activities and inspiring speakers. From 14:30 till 21:00 there will be lots going on to rouse Bristolians into action and get our voices heard by the people representing us at the climate negotiations in Copenhagen in December.

To start the day off at noon you are invited to 'shout till you are blue in the face '- literally, to demand action on climate change. Dress in all your blue finery, even get your face painted blue by Oxfam and join others to create a human wave at the Ferry Boat, opposite the Watershed. If all that has fired your belly for further action, join the bike ride from Bristol to London for The Wave on December 5th. For information in taking part in the bike ride to London, go here http://www.bristol.anglican.org/churches/bristolbluewave/
