After a busy week, I usually like to relax and slow down a bit. Not this weekend, though.

This weekend Kim and I kept getting up at the crack of dawn to trek across the county to the Sealyham activity center where we spent two pretty long days learning ABCDEFG incident protocol and what to do when Things Go Wrong and People Break.

The REC Level 2 course run by Adam from Real First Aid was great. I highly recommend it (or any of Adam's courses) for anyone who spends a lot of time out in the wilds in small groups (or even alone).

For anyone who has already done a First Aid at Work course, this is a great next step and really cements a lot of the basics while increasing your confidence as a first aider.

I just hope it was a waste of time and I never need the knowledge.
