I first saw his work for Lo Recordings, in collaboration with Non-Format. He made these miniature cardboard models for the release of Jean-Jacques Perrey & Luke Vibert's album Moog Acid. If you're familiar with moog synthesisers then you'll probably enjoy this link here. You can visit Dan's site here.

My mp3 player randomly selected a lovely tune that got me all nostalgic about the time I saw him play in Brixton Academy a few years back. The definition of a one-man band, this guy is talented to say the least. Just you try singing whilst playing the lap steel guitar, didgeridoo and bass drum all at the same time...
Keeping with Tim's Throwdown Threes, here's my selection for the weekend. Have a great one.
Orbital - 'Style'http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=I2AbiQHkGTc&feature=related
Boards of Canada - 'Roygbiv'http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yT0gRc2c2wQ
Fu Manchu - 'Evil Eye'http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=R9x1T287xOk
So I've started sifting through the photos from the shoot last week.
plus Paul's polaroids.
plus my 20 rolls of film.
plus James' LOMO and medium format shots.
and some extra on the Ricoh.
It's going to take some time getting through them but from what I've seen so far it should be an enjoyable process.

It's taken us the best part of the week to find some time to blog so now seems right.
What a trip so far...
A ferry crossing for 24hrs... with alot of sickness, some comedy moments. A 13hr drive through the night with a few stops for skating, before finally arriving at our destination. We have surfed, eaten and discovered a fair bit about the country we're visiting, a real eye opener for sure.
We are in two teams today, the camper van is heading up north to the next surf spot, while Anna, Roxane, Adolfo and myself are heading north towards our woven wear factory Tevitom in Guimaraes.
Hoping all is well back home.
Here is a pic of us pre-tan, pre-surf, pre-sleep.
