T-shirt of the Week

Don't forget, this week’s T-shirt of the Week – ‘Polaroid’.

We did it because they announced that after next year, there won’t be any more Polaroid film.

A sad loss indeed.

In these digital days of instant gratification, it seems like we don’t have the patience to wait a whole minute for our pictures to develop.

But no amount of photoshop wizardry will ever match up to the beauty held within that thick white border. So buy up whatever film you can find and store it in your fridge, help keep Polaroid alive.

Available on Dirt tees for men and White tees for women

From The Basement

Our friend Dilly produces this great music show called From The Basement.  Joby designed this dvd cover for the first series. You can buy it here. Live sets by Radiohead, Sonic Youth and an incredible one by PJ Harvey that I have watched a billion times.

It's shot so well, it kind of feels like you are in the room with them.

On top of that, the second series airs tomorrow at 10pm on Sky Arts.

3 Dec Gnarls Barkley, Sparks, The Kills

10 Dec My Morning Jacket, The Fall, White Denim

17 Dec Iggy Pop, CSS, Shortwave Set

24 Dec Radiohead,  Andrew Bird, Fleet Foxes

31 Dec The Raconteurs, Seasick Steve, Band of Horses

Way better than anything else on TV, ever.

It was submitted to our Dirt Magazine T-shirt competition and was designed by Andrew Mearns.

It didn't win. But it was so good we thought we'd print it anyway. Look at her go!

Cheers Andrew.

This week's T-shirt of the Week is 'Brake Free'.

Dedicated to all those fearless fixed wheel riders, who bomb
our hills with no brakes and scant regard for their own health.
It's bare bones biking at its best. You gotta love 'em.

Just keep those fingers crossed when you get to a junction.

Skateboard advertising is usually as dull as dishwater.

The formula is: picture of trick or handrail or shoe+name of skater+company logo = ad.

However, these boys come at it with a bit more finesse.

here's an ad for Enjoi, featuring the skater with the longest name in the business – Wieger Van Wageningen.

Pro board out soon.

Andrew Reynolds has added frontside flips to The Berrics online skate trick reference Trickipedia.

New tricks are added each week, so keep checking.

Also tonnes of other stuff to be found at The Berrics. Be sure to check out 'Wednesdays' with annoyingly funny photographer/filmer Giovanni Reda.
