This week's T-shirt of the week is '100% Wooly' by Chester Bigglesworth.
We like wooly.
We like 'a-bit-out-there'.
Or slightly 'away-with-the-fairies...'
Those are interesting and limitless ways of thinking.
The genius that comes from dumb.
The crazy smart and the stupid good.
Life in Cloud Cuckoo Land ain't at all baaaad.
Here are a couple of things I've just seen that scare me.
First a shot of the BP oil slick taken from space -
And a video explaining how BP have been using chemical dispersant to convert the surface slick into giant underwater clouds of toxic crap.
I really think that any company causing this kind of damage to the environment should be shut down and banned from any more drilling work. Accidents of this scale just aren't acceptable.
Force of habit is bad. It ties you down and stops you learning new things and seeing new places.
Last night when I left work I realised I had nowhere to be, so I set off on the long way home.
Round the back roads, up hills, down valleys. The evening was beautiful. The sunset was amazing.
I'm glad I broke my routine and took the long way home.
We love our merino baselayers. They're our layer of choice when we get out and about on our bikes, boats, boards or when we go running.
They're also great to wear on their own, under shirts and for loads of non-sporty situations as well.
So we're happy to report that we found a load of merino stock that we'd forgotten about... and promptly sent it down to Ade on Brick lane for the sample sale.
If you can, drop by and check it out - it looks like they'll have some great stuff down there this weekend. More details, a map and opening hours here.
So with the iPad set to rewrite the publishing rulebook, and mobile devices integrating more of our lives with the internet every month, it wasn't going to be long before someone did something about TV.
Ever since the first mass-produced networked computers went on sale to the public, traditional one-way TV has been living under a shadow. Now that many of us have fast enough web access to enable streaming of high definition video, that shadow is looking very dark.
If I were a traditional broadcaster, I'd be hiring some geeks and getting myself prepared for the future.
T-Shirt of the Week – Bathtub by Timothy Hunt
There's nothing like a good
bath after a hard day.
The Romans swore by them.
Just put your feet up and drift away.
But don't forget the bubbles.
You can see more of Tim's work at www.ficklefate.co.uk
Just heard from Ade. He's been on Brick Lane getting ready for the sample sale.
The shop is all set up (photos to follow)
The clothes are laid out all neatly (that wont last)
The doors are about to open.
The sample sale crew are bracing themselves.
If you're in the area, go and say hello. Who knows, you might find the bargain of the year down there.
They'll be open til 9pm tonight and open every day until Sunday.
