Falu Rödfärg

This weekend, the windows displays in our shops are changing.

We used this super nice Falu Rödfärg paint to bring a flavour of Sweden to
Bristol and London. But you'll have to go down and take a look if you want
to see what we did... I'm saying nothing.

Beautiful paint, great story. I really want to paint my shed with it now.

Have a look in our Autumn catalogue to read the full 'Paint It Green' story
by Jon Matthews or click here to read it online.

Then perhaps click here if your shed needs a lick.

Before I leave work tonight I want to say a little something about the upcoming catalogue. I can't find the card reader so no sneak preview unfortunately. What I can tell you though is that we're pretty excited about this one. In terms of content, so far it is just brilliant. Nick, James, Jon, Paul Bliss and Jack Lynch captured some amazing photos out in Sweden. The clothes are fantastic, the illustrations are beautiful and what I've read so far is just spot on. All that's left is for Pete and myself to piece it all together, and in that respect I'm also pretty damn excited.

Listen for the thud on your doorstep September 1st.

This was all the equipment we used this shoot and the photographers too.

Me and Jack laid our stuff out too. But Jack took the photo and I was holding the ladder.

(It's 2 days late, we didn’t get any internet there)

The past couple of days we’ve been at Anders Cottage near Glava. It’s half an hour down a track and it’s isolated and beautiful. (hence why I couldn’t blog yesterday).

Swam in the lake

Washed in the lake

Chopped wood

Made fires

Toasted marshmellows

Toasted bread

Fished with rods

Fished with nets

Fished for lost phones

Saw an elk

Kayaked

Canoed

Cycled

Ran

Taken 20,000 pictures
