Had a meeting with russell and henry and nick today about making the postcard machine.
We are going to ask the good folk at Hewlett Packard and Apple for a bit of help.

Yesterday The Soil Association announced changes to it's standards to ensure
that organic goods are only air freighted into the UK if it delivers genuine benefits
for farmers in developing countries.
Now any goods flown in that don't meet these standards may be classified 'non-organic'.

Popped up north for a few days to visit a Design Festival (www.design-event.co.uk)
The journey seemed like it took me forever but it has been worth every second.
The festival has loads of different exhibitions dotted around Newcastle and a few in Sunderland.

when we did the shop project we tried hard to be as low impact as possible.
the shop came fitted with lots of halogen and sodium lights which give a good amount of light. the sodium bulbs are some of the most efficient but the halogens could be better. But rather than take them ...![]()
