CDs get new lease of life with Jamble Magazine.

To mark the launch of new eco-webzine, www.jamblemag.co.uk, a CD
recycling day is being held in Cardiff.

CD bins will be placed in stores in the Welsh capital on June 5th -
World Environment Day, and all broken, scratched or unwanted computer
CD's that are collected will be sent for recycling.

Ian Everett, editor of Jamble Magazine, said; "100% of a CD can be
recycled and transformed into things like garden chairs or park benches;
so the aim of this day is to encourage people to give their old, broken
CDs a new lease of life, rather than throw them out in the rubbish."

Jamble has been created to blend music, travel and environment articles
into one publication, and the launch issue features articles on
'greening Chicago', 'Welsh rap' and 'I-junk'
