When we had finished our laps we would note down our times on a piece of paper so we all had a guide as to the time we would next go out.

I found this on top of the rubbish left by a Scotish team who were camped next to us who left at 7.00am.

7 hours early.

It sums up how alot of riders felt after endless pushing and crashes in the mud.

Made me smile.
