Doh Boys Mission (An address from Doh Boy)

Fellow truth warriors.

We have a story to tell.
We go with a mission in mind.
To put real bread back on our children’s plates.
Fat has no place in their daily bread.

It was put there to make healthy profits for those who make and sell it.
It was not put there to make healthier bread for those who eat it.
We need to tell the people what has happened and why.
Sticks to the facts and let them decide what is right.

The bread manufacturers listen to the supermarkets.
The supermarkets listen to their customers.
The customers listen to common sense.
In which case, we shall only talk common sense.

For a thousand years they baked bread the same way.
Flour, water, yeast and a touch of salt.
And that other vital ingredient: time.
It was slow food but good food.

But now they have found a way to cut corners.
It is the customer who in the end will pay the price.
And that is not right.
And that is why we fight this fight.

They have big business interests to protect.
They will fight hard to keep things just as they are.
But remember we go to inform, not to rubbish their way.
We seek only to tell people of the old way.

We will use any means necessary to tell our story.
From podcasting to blogging. From banners to placards.
From short films to a simple handwritten letter.
Thankfully, the truth works well in any media.

We Doh Boys are only an army of 500 strong.
Our enemy as we all know is all powerful.
Our only weapon is the truth.
Still, some of us will not make it home.
