A new hooded waterproof for men, made from the same amazing 2.5 layer polyester membrane as the Blade jacket. This eco-friendly fabric is flourocarbon free, reducing its impact on the environment and you. It’s 100% waterproof, super breathable and totally windproof. And again, taped seams and storm zips throughout seal out even the most torrential rain.

• 100% Waterproof
• PTFE and PET free
• Breathable
• Windproof
• Recyclable
• Taped seams
• Waterproof zips
• Adjustable hood

How waterproof is it?
In water column tests, this membrane produced a hydrostatic head reading of over 45,000 mm, far exceeding the 20,000 mm mark required to be awarded the ISO 811 Test Certification.

So the answer is... off-the-scale-waterproof.

  • PTFE & PFC Free
PTFE and PFCs (flourocarbons) are the sort of teflon-like nano particles which are applied to fabrics to make them waterproof.

However they are known to be harmful and can get into the water cycle as well as into your skin (wearing them is a bit like eating from a scratched up old frying pan - and you wouldn’t want to do that), so this membrane has a reduced impact on the environment and you.
